The press conference before the 38th international congress on heating, refrigerating and air-conditioning  organized by the Society for Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning (KGH)  within the Union of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Technicians of Serbia (SMEITS) will be held on Monday , 3rd  December, at 11:30, in the premises of the Society, Kneza Miloša 7a, 2nd floor.

39th International HVAC&R Congress Print

The 39th HVAC&R Congress will be held from 3rd to 5th December 2008 in Belgrade, and it will be dedicated to the Centenary of the foundation of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) in Paris in 1908. The Kingdom of Serbia was one of its founders. 
The 39th HVAC&R Congress will encompass four IIR commissions:
B1: Thermodynamics and Transfer Processes (Heat and Mass)
B2: Refrigerating Equipment
E1: Air-conditioning
E2: Heat Pumps and Energy Recovery

The new revised, supplemented and more practical edition of the guide “Who is who in HVAC&R” is prepared for registered participant of the 38th International HVAC&R Congress. »Who is who in HVAC&R, 2007« will also be available for purchase at the Organizer's desk in the SAVA Centre.

The printed bilingual brochure with the of the 38th International HVAC&R Congress has been distributed to 4.000 addresses. Program includes the layout of exhibition stands and the list of registered exhibitors. 
 
Submitted papers and topics Print

More than 60 papers have been submitted and they cover all basic thematic fields of the congress: global climate change, fundamental research, indoor environment quality, heat load calculations and structure of building envelopes, »intelligent « buildings, HVAC&R installations, materials and equipment, renewable energy sources, district heating, etc.
This year several papers will deal with »clean« rooms, and these papers will be presented at a specially organized round table.
The papers of the ASHRAE Danube Chapter members will be presented within the meeting of this organization - ASHRAE Danube Chapter.

This year again we expect the ASHRAE president, Mr. Peterson and twenty special guests, among whom the authors with submitted papers from all ex-Yugoslav republics, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Romania, Russia, USA, Iran, Nigeria, Germany, Egypt, UK, Canada, Finland and France.
Furthermore, there will be representatives of many foreign companies that participate in the exhibition of HVAC&R equipment and accomplishments.
Like in previous years, the travel agency “TTA International” of Belgrade will welcome foreign guests.
 
Sight-seeing and post-congress tours Print

For the congress guests who are interested in extending their stay in Serbia in order to become well acquainted with this country, post-congress tours may be organized lasting one or more days. It should not be forgotten that December is interesting for lovers of big game hunting, and big game is abundant in Serbia.
