At the annual conference of ASHRAE Danube Chapter, held at Timisoara on 2nd April 2009 according to the ASHRAE Statute, the following officials were elected for the mandate period (2009/2010). Report of the ASHRAE Danube Chapter in the previous period has the current president of chapter Zivojin Perišić.
Technical section of this international meeting was intended for the presentation of works of students from Serbia and Romania. Ten students presented their paper in English: 3 students from the Mechanical Faculty in Kragujevac, 2 from the Mechanical Faculty in Nis, 1 from the Technical Faculty in Novi Sad, 2 from Transylvania University in Brasov and 3 students from the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest.

Today, the Chapter gathers over 170 ASHRAE active members from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania, covering the population of almost 100 million people and 1/5 of the European territory. The seat of the Permanent Secretariat of the Chapter is in Timisoara. |
