Preparations for the 40th jubilee international HVAC&R
The preparations for this year’s, 40th jubilee international HVAC&R congress and exhibition (Belgrade, 2nd – 4th December 2009) are in progress and we are on the right track to make this jubilee congress as we have planned.
We can justifiably say that since our sponsors and members of the Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning have faith in what we do. And also because the HVAC&R congress has become the brand name of our Society, recognized in both national and international professional community.
This has been proved by the fact that all our previous sponsors and exhibitors (both domestic and foreign) have already answered to our call and offered their support in organizing this jubilee congress.
Our three main sponsors – FENIKKS BB from Niš, FILTER FRIGO from Belgrade and MPG KGH from Belgrade – together will be the general patron of our jubilee congress.
The programme of this congress is focused on the current issues and it deals with the topics significant for the development of HVAC&R science and technology. This year, again, the Sava Centre will be the place of gathering of prominent scientists, leading researchers, professionals and authors from dozens of countries together with professionals from this country, and they will exchange their experience and present the news from this branch of science and engineering.
We shall also have an opportunity to host and hear a message from the present ASHRAE President, Mr. Holness, and the leading persons from the biggest professional organizations in the world.
The interest of domestic and foreign exhibitors only confirms the established reputation of this ancillary event among domestic and foreign experts. We are expecting a decision on selection of the general patron of the exhibition.
This year the congress programme will also include the meeting and presentation of papers written by the students from all relevant faculties from this country and guests from the neighbouring countries. This programme for young and future professionals and the last year’s meeting aroused great interest of the congress participants, who have already made efforts to make use of our experience and organize similar meetings in their countries.
The social events within the programme will include the congress opening with a welcome cocktail, dinner for guests, official dinner, farewell lunch, award of recognitions and special letters of gratitude to the most devoted participants, sponsors and exhibitors, as well as other events.
