According to the programme, on the 2nd congress day main sponsors made their presentations  and congress participants heard over 30 papers on information technologies in energy efficiency increase, energy efficient facilities and equipment, air systems in air-conditioning, heat generation, cogereneration, trigeneration.

The student programme was attended by over 200 undergraduate and graduate students from Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš and Thessalonica. The future young colleagues presented their papers in Annex B, divided in four thematic fields: building energy demand for heating and air-conditioning, intelligent green architecture, refrigeration and boilers. The student papers presented at the 40th HVAC&R congress were of extraordinary quality.
