Commissioned by the Belgrade City Assembly and built in 1977, this modern complex is sutuated in one of the most attractive parts of Belgrade , only five minutes away from the city centre and 15 minutes away from Belgrade 's Nikola Tesla Airport . In the immediate vicinity of the Sava Center are two de luxe category hotels, the Hyatt Regency and the Beograd Continental. In effect, the Beograd Continental is connected to the Sava Center , with which it forms a unique architectural whole.

In its two component units (Building A and Building B), the Sava Center has 15 conference halls with the total capacity of 7,000 seats, which are equipped with the state-of-the-art audio and lighting systems.
