Marija Todorović and Zoran Stajić – Vice-Presidents of the commissions of the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR)
Prof. Marija Todorović, Ph.D., B.M.E., was elected the Vice-President of the Commission C1 (Cryobiology, cryomedicine) of the IIR (International Institute of Refrigeration) and Zoran Stajić, M.S., B.M.E., was elected the Vice-President of the Commission D2 (Refrigerated Transport). Their respective mandates will be from 2008 till 2011.
Marija Todorović and Zoran Stajić are our famous experts in the field of thermodynamics and refrigeration and they are members of the Administrative Board of the Serbian Society for Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (KGH).
In his announcement regarding the election of our colleagues, the Director of the International Institute of Refrigeration, Mr. Didier Coulomb, stated that „these nominations are a sign of importance of Serbia as an IIR Member-Country for hundred years ", and we would also like to add – as one of the founders of this international organization at the First Congress of Refrigeration held in 1908 in Paris.
