Our colleague, Professor Predrag - Pega Hrnjak, Ph.D., M.S., has been awarded “Rittinger Medal” for 2008 by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning (ASHRAE). This medal is a high recognition for significant contributions to the development, advancement and application of technology in the field of air-conditioning, heat pumps and refrigeration.

Mr. Hrnjak is a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the famous University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign in the USA), co-director of the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Center at the same Department and one of the leading world experts and researches in the field of development and application of new refrigeration technologies.
